The Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs, Zoran Djordjevic, announced that the payment of one-time assistance to pensioners in Serbia would start on Friday, November 30.
While visiting Serbian radio and television, the minister said some pensioners would start paying the next day, depending on whether they would receive their pension at home.
The Serbian government had previously announced that 1.7 million retirees would receive one-time aid of 3,000 dinars.
