In Serbia, the average net salary rose to 47,920 dinars in September, a nominal increase of 5.5% over a year ago, while the real increase was 3.3 %, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
The average gross salary was 66,251 dinars, or 4.9% more, in nominal terms, higher than last September, while it was up 2.7% in real terms.
The median net salary for September this year was 37,957 dinars, which means that 50% of employees earned each month up to this amount.
Net wage growth for the first nine months of this year was 6.2% in nominal terms and 4.2% in real terms, while gross wages were nominally increased by 5.7%, or 3.7% in real terms.
