The Executive Director of the Euroleague, George Bertome, previously described Germany and France as priority markets on which the best quality competition in Europe wanted to strengthen its influence and presence.
In other words, this expansion (marketing) of Euroleague will not affect the narrow channels through which unlicensed clubs "A" valid for ten years can get the elite ranking of the competition. In particular, in the new version of the competition, the ABA league will only have one representative – the champion.

With this decision from Euroleague, France has a sure player, and Germany two – next to Bayern, they will face the best Bundesliga team alongside Bayern. The "A" licenses have licenses Efes, Fenerbahce, Milan, CSKA, Maccabi, Barcelona, Real, Barcelona, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and Zalgiris.

Behind Bayern is a powerful football club, whose basketball players are only a section apart. The owner of the Vilerban club is one of the best French basketball players of all time, Tony Parker, whose career in the NBA is imminent. ASVEL is the most profitable French club with 18 titles, ahead of Limoges with 11 and Ortez with 9, but Parker's club has only one title over the last decade.
The system of the competition will not change, but in the league section of season 34 will be played instead of 30 rounds.
