A few months after the European premiere, FIAT presented the redesigned 500X model and the American triple.

The 500X America features a modified front mask and LED daytime running lights. Customers can also choose new bi-xenon LED headlamps with 20% more light and lower energy consumption.
The interior is also enriched with the new 3.5-inch control panel between two traditional analog inverters.

However, the biggest newspaper is the new 1.3-liter petrol turbo, developing 180 hp and 285 Nm of torque, combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The engine utilizes the third generation FIAT MultiAir valve actuation technology, which further influences the efficiency of the combustion system.

The FIAT 500X is equipped with all four-wheel drive in the standard package. FIAT offers three new exterior colors, three new alloy wheels (two of 17 and one of 18 inches).
The starting price for 500X in the US is $ 25,785 and comes in three equipment configuration models: Pop, Trekking and Trekking Plus, starting at $ 30,490.
