The first Israeli spacecraft to land on the moon will be launched in December, the Spacel Initiative announced.

Israeli media reports that it is expected that the plane will land on the moon on February 13, after a two-month trip.
Space IL participates in Gugl's competition to found the first privately financed Missouri spacecraft on the moon.
The construction of the aircraft began in 2013 in cooperation with the Israeli aviation industry. It will be launched on the Falkon 9 rocket built by Spice X (SpaceX) by Ilona Maska.
It will be separated from a launcher at an altitude of 60,000 kilometers above the Earth and penetrating into an orbit that will gradually expand as the spacecraft reaches the weight of the moon.
This will be, as Speysil Ido Anteba's director said, the smallest plane to have landed on the moon.
Its diameter is two meters and the meter is high. It will weigh 585 kilograms when launched, and when landing 180 kilograms after it will consume the bulk of the fuel.
SpeisisL hopes that Israel will be the fourth country in the world after the United States, Russia and China to send a spacecraft to the moon.
The Initiative, apart from technological success, aims to encourage the interest of space and science among Israelis, especially the youngest, and to chew them to study technical sciences and mathematics.
