Firefighters are still on the ground.

Niška police announced that the fire was located at 21:40 and that there were no wounded.

Rescue units are on the ground where a fire occurs, he adds in a statement.

For now, it is unclear what is the cause of the fire.

"The roof of the hotel and the firefighters have plummeted so as not to extend to the lower floors," said the president of the municipality of B92, Niška Banja Dejan Jovanović.

Huge smoke began to flow from the back of the hotel around 8 pm, and firefighters fired a blazing fire for two hours.

The great fire that had buried the roof of the hotel spread to the attic, and the South Korean reporter reported that they had fired on the windows and that the fire had been "off".

A fire report was received at 7:40 pm, police said, after which the Department of Emergency Situations was informed. Citizens are requested to leave, and parking is available for cars parked nearby.

The chairman of Niška Banja Municipality, Dejan Jovanovic, says that there are no casualties, but the material damage is enormous.

According to him, it was feared that the fire would not spread to homes around the hotel or in the woods behind the hotel.

Jovanovic pointed out that the cause of the fire would be determined after an investigation conducted by the competent authorities.

He pointed out that the hotel "Partizan" did not work for 10 years, that there was no one there.

"This year has been announced an offer that failed, so we would expect another, or if it failed, a direct sales agreement for the coming year", added Jovanovic.

The hotel "Partizan" belonging to the Serbian company Ilić has not been received by customers in the last 10 years, and the sale was announced at the end of February by the tax authorities because of the current tax on its current owner. The starting price was 310 million dinars, and the new owner has not yet received, because two offers failed

The original price was 310 million dinars

Since privatization so far, the doors of the hotel are closed
