The Reference phone comes with the Exynos 7885 chipset, which has two 2.2 GHz cores and two more powerful core at 1.6 GHz.The RAM on the SM-A750FN is 4 GB and the phone is listed with the system Android operating system Oreo 8.0.

The Galaxy A8 + (2018) has a model number SM-A730xx, while its predecessor Galaxy A7 (2017) is codenamed SM-A720xx. the SM-A750FN is a logical successor of the Galaxy A8 series (number 4 is considered unlucky in Korea and thus pass the beacon SM-A740 xx).

If the SM-A750FN will be called Galaxy A9 (2018) or will be an A8 add-on for specific markets, this remains to be seen.
