The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met in the presidency the representative of the German investor MTU Aero, who should invest in advanced technologies in our country.
After the meeting, the President of Serbia and the representatives of the German investor MTU Aero Engines addressed the public.
The Serbian President today declared a great day for our country.
"The most modern airline has arrived in Serbia, one-third of the planes worldwide have some, and Serbia will be back in Europe," Vucic said.
He said the Germans are the best in Europe for producing cars and planes.
"They will not leave here before 5 or 50. It is a factory that will stay here more than 100 years, which brings us more into the ecological league and you can invest in Serbia," said the president.
Vucic added that MTU had many shareholders and that it was one of the most powerful companies in the airline industry.
"But we have struggled to bring this investment to Serbia, and I am grateful to all those who have worked for MTU to go to Serbia," said the president, adding that he was very happy.
"We have managed to defeat more developed countries than we already have.We already have other EU investors who want to develop the airline industry and move production with us, "he explained.
Vucic repeated that it was great news for us.
"I have lived a German-Serbian friendship, I wish you success and good work," said the president.
MTU board member, Mihael Šrajeg, thanked for his welcome, adding that he was happy to have offered a gift to Serbia in the form of this investment.
"We visited Serbia for the first time two months ago to discuss this investment and I must say that we are pleased that the negotiations are under way.TMU is a big company, we serve about 700 customers. 50 years old and Aleksandar said we could stay 100 years, "he said.
Serbia has a dynamic and reliable infrastructure, he said.
"In Serbia, we have discovered highly motivated people who know the airline industry and wish to work for MTU and help us grow," said Mihael, adding that he felt that Vucic was creating a good commercial climate.
"I hope we will buy the land next year, and then we will hire people," Mihael concluded.
Mihael said he recommended Serbia as a good country for investment.
