There will be more than 160 employees, but the real shock is the number of employees!

Vucic, accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Goran Knezevic, the governor of the province Igor Ivorovic and the mayor of Zrenjanin, Cedomir Janjic, and his guests, visited the new production plant of enamelled wire "Esex Jurop" .

– Just six months ago, it was just a meadow and people admired us admirably when we announced that at the end of the year we would open a factory that will employ 160 people. They will contribute to Serbia by exporting products worth 132 million euros. This is of great importance for our country and for Zrenjanin – said Vucic.

He added that he was happy that many South Korean companies are planning to arrive in Serbia.

– You can not just attract them, you have good business conditions, good government services, self-government services, a good work force. The arrival of South Korean investors opens a new stage – the arrival of factories with strong technological development and the fact that we will attract countries that we have not yet occupied. Korea is becoming an Asian and global economic tiger, he said, urging the LS group to open other factories in Serbia, wherever.

– You're welcome. We have booked for this investment a billion and 620 million euros and a total investment of more than 30 million euros. We want to employ even more Serbia, that people have a future and think about the future of their children, "he said, adding that the average wage in this factory was 90,000 dinars, a well above the national average.

The foundation stone of this plant was laid in March this year in the presence of the President of Serbia, representatives of the state summit, the city of Zrenjanin and the company Eseks.

As previously announced by the company, investment in the Zrenjanin plant represents about 30 million euros.

In Zrenjanin, a 14,000-square-meter factory and a 2,000-square-meter commercial space were built and a job was created between 160 and 170 people.

The South Korean company Esex Jurop, a member of the LS group (manufactures electrical and electronic materials with an annual business turnover of $ 19 billion), is present in more than 100 sites worldwide. It has branches in 25 countries and employs more than 3,000 people.

It is a European branch of the South Korean subsidiary of "Superior Esex", the leading European supplier of wires for the production of transformers, motors and generators. Its products are mainly aimed at the automotive, energy and electric motors sectors.

The Zrenjanin factory will be the first production plant of the Esex company in the Eastern European territory.
