Nadal thinks first that Djokovic will have a problem in the matches against young players, such as Karen Kachanov and Alexander Zverev.
In an interview with El Diario Vasco, a Spanish expert said he was surprised by the sharp decline in Serbian tennis player's football during the last two tournaments of the season, in Paris and London.
"The truth is that I said earlier that Novak would come back to the top whenever he wanted. Its quality is too great for anyone to write it. Nevertheless, I am surprised how much his level of play has fallen in the final of the season. Maybe in 2019 everything is over for him because of the upcoming player's generationsaid Tony Nadal.
He warned that young players like Zvereva or Kacanova are just showing how much they can.
"Young people have made a significant step this season. Kacanov beat Djokovic in the Paris final, Zverev won in the London final, Denis Shapovalov is the youngest, but he can do a lot more. There is this strong group in which Borna Coric and Dominik Team have not taken the last step. Rafa, Roger and Novak, like the others, know what awaits them in the duel with them"said Toni Nadal.
