Body Veselina M. (72), a retired taxi driver, was found at around 6 pm on Tuesday in her apartment in a building on Arčibalda Rajs street in Čukarica.

As we unofficially find out, an unhappy man was a heart patient, he was living alone and he was dead, knowing that the neighbors had an unhealthy stench for days.

– The body of the man was found in the hallway next to the toilet. The windows and doors being closed from the inside, it was therefore assumed that Veselin had died a natural death. However, the body was sent to an autopsy where the exact time and cause of death would be established, our source said.

The neighbors say that the former taxi driver lived alone in the morning.

– He had no one. At the time of signing a contract with his colleague's daughter, he was talking about lifelong support and, in return, he was recovering his apartment, but something was wrong. Nobody touched him and often complained of pain. He was a heart patient – says a neighbor and adds that he is believed to have died two weeks ago.

– Then he began to smell the unpleasant smell that was intensifying day by day. The smell was spreading through the tubes of the bathroom, through the toilet, it was unbearable.

Over time, we realized that it was possible that the neighbor passed away and we informed the authorities – said the interlocutor.

According to her, the smells are felt for a moment in the building because nobody has cleaned the apartment.

– We do not even know who to ask for help. We open the windows but everything is felt – there is a neighbor.

This is unfortunately not a case in Belgrade where the body broke in the apartment of citizens living alone. In this case, the tenants reacted relatively quickly in this case.
Remember that last year, two bodies were found during the decomposition phase, and we talked about it.
– Mileva Galantić's body was found several months after his death last year in his apartment on Miloš Zecevic Street in Zvezdara.
– The body of Vitomir Marjanovic (82) was found under the presumption of neighbors one year after his death in his apartment on Kumodraska Street.
