HOLLYWOOD – Amy Poehler has a golden rule for the Oscars.

"If one of us falls, the others must also do it," she cracked during the rehearsals on Saturday, putting into practice her presentation time alongside her friends Tina Fey and Maya Rudolph. The three women had not fallen into their heads: each pair of jeans with what appeared to be the heels they will wear at the 91st Academy Awards (ABC, Sunday, 8 ET / PT) and S & P Would lead to cross the stage of Dolby Theater.

In front of a room with siege placards, producers, and Academy staff, Fey read his first line. "Good evening and welcome to the millionth Academy Awards!", Fey told the mic for a laugh, plunging into a joke that there were no guests. (Oh, and she's giving a USA TODAY joke you should not miss.)

Then Rudolph opened the white envelope of his rehearsal: "And the Oscar goes to … Amy Poehler!" She proclaimed, under a false shock.

Every 15 minutes or so, another celebrity couple went up on the stage, highlighted with gold and bathed in Swarovski crystals, to train and distribute fake Oscars to replacements.

Of course, it's a routine for some. But no one was too cool when an adorable baby arrived (especially a famous baby). Dolby almost melted on her cute side when Serena Williams came on stage holding the hand of her youngest daughter, Alexis Olympia, 17 months old.

Attention Academy: Little Alexis, dressed in a pink sweater with sparks that rose to the sides, was no longer afraid of the scene. The toto confidently grabbed the big microphone in front of his mother as Williams laughed before taking her in his arms and placing the child on her hip.

Without a baby, Williams practiced his lines twice, with Alexis watching as he moved away. Before continuing with their happy Saturday, Williams' daughter took center stage watching the audience – and began to applaud. The whole room full of tired production people in battle could not help but laugh and follow.
