Several famous friends of Meghan Markle are responsible for running a suitable baby shower for a royal Wednesday in New York, which contradicts previous reports that the event would take place earlier in the week.
Serena Williams would have the biggest bill, according to the Daily Mail. The outlet also reports that Amal Clooney is co-organizer of the case. Also present are Jessica Mulroney and Abigail Spencer, as well as some friends from Meghan at the University of Northwestern University.
The tennis champion will pay $ 75,000 to hold the shower in The Mark's penthouse suite, where Markle apparently stayed since his quiet arrival in town on Friday. Williams joined the Duchess for dinner Tuesday night with other friends.
Clooney was not seen with Markle before the shower, but like Williams, she attended the royal wedding in May 2018.

And although we have not seen Clooney and Markle publicly together since, they spend time together under the radar: last summer, the Clooneys invited Prince Harry and his wife to visit their lake estate from Como. Almost no one knew that the holidays were over – only the local police were aware of the royal arrival – so if Clooney is trying to make a discreet entrance and go out in Markle's shower, we may never be wiser.
The intimate shower would only include 15 Markle friends. It is not yet known if his mother, who lives in California, is in New York for the event.
Markle would have a second baby shower on her return to the UK, but only after her visit to Morocco with Prince Harry. She is due this spring.
