Normally, when we talk about a Curry doing something crazy in the NBA, we talk about Steph. But not this time. It’s his brother, Seth Curry, who is actually about to make a pretty incredible NBA story.
We’ve all heard of the illustrious 50/40/90 club. This is when a player shoots at least 50% from the field, 40% from the 3 point line and 90% from the free throw line.
Only eight players in NBA history have joined the illustrious club. Seth Curry’s brother Steph Curry has already hit the mark.
But Seth? He is about to start his own club. Right now he’s shooting 50.3% from court, 50.7% from depth and 100% from the free throw line.
This is the 50-50-100 club. And he would have one.
And, to make it even better, the Sixers are winning. They are 15-3 with him when he plays. Seems about right. This is what happens when you do everything.
That’s a pretty impressive statistic and, if he continues, it will certainly make for a very good table discussion between the two brothers. Of course, Steph Curry has a unanimous MVP under his belt and is one of the best shooters we’ve ever seen.
But the 50-50-100 club? He never was. Keep it up, Seth.
