Seth Rogen has announced the US launch of his cannabis company Houseplant.

The Pineapple Express actor, 38, has revealed his ‘hand-smoked’ brand of marijuana will arrive in California on March 11.

“ If you know anything about me, I’m going to assume I really like weed, ” Seth began on his Instagram account. “ But what you probably don’t know about me is that I’ve been working on my own cannabis business for 10 years and we’re finally ready to go to America.

“ It’s called Houseplant, and what we do is bring you the best varieties of weed that have been handpicked – and by that I mean hand-smoked – by me. It’s just the weed I love that I want to smoke, it comes in these adorable little boxes. We have an orange for sativa and a purple for indica. And it even stacks up!

Houseplant not only includes Seth’s favorite weed varieties, but it also comes complete with accessories like table lighters, a vinyl case, and even an actor-designed ashtray.

“We have things like this block table lighter, which is a table lighter with an ashtray for the cover,” he said. “ I lose my lighters all the time, but no more because this guy is hard to lose! This is just the beginning. It’s honestly the work of my life, and I’ve never been so excited about anything. I hope you like it.’

Seth initially launched Houseplant, a line of pre-rolled joints and soft capsules, in 2019 with Evan Goldberg.
