Kodansha announced on Wednesday that The seven deadly sins franchise inspires a new anime film titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By The Light (Nanatsu no Taizai: Hikari ni Norowareshi Mono-tachi) which will open in Japan this summer. The film will feature an all-new story from the original manga writer Nakaba Suzuki, and will be defined after The Seven Deadly Sins: Judgment of the Dragon anime.

Kodansha Comics publishes the manga in English in digital and print form. Crunchyroll published new chapters as they appeared in Japan.

Suzuki will launch Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi (The Four Knights of the Apocalypse), the direct sequence of The seven deadly sins manga, in Shōnen weekly magazine January 27. The sequel will again take place in Britannia and begin at a place called “the finger of God”.
