Things had been relatively calm on the injury front for the Eagles throughout training camp, and Nick Sirianni had pointed out that his training schedule and durations had been set up specifically to increase players’ availability to play. the approach of the season. But, then, the practice on Tuesday took place.
We learned before training that defensive end Ryan Kerrigan has opted for thumb surgery and will be out for 7-10 days to recover. Safety K’Vonn Wallace and left tackle Andre Dillard eventually made it to the medical tent, on their own, but didn’t end up returning to the pitch. Dillard apparently lost the LT competition to Jordan Mailata, so any kind of setback could really confirm the clarity of the starting point.
And a pretty big one, was wide receiver Michael Walker who ended up being hauled off the field with a right leg injury.
Eagles wide receiver Michael Walker is injured. He beat Scott with a nice double swing during the 1 on 1, but came in limping, unable to put much weight on his right leg, being helped off the field.

We know a slew of other injured Eagles players, but most appear to be facing minor issues with the team being more cautious in getting them back on the pitch. Brandon Brooks noted last week that he was feeling great and didn’t expect it to take a long time to get back into the mix with his nearly 10 years of NFL experience.

This was the team’s last training session before their preseason game Thursday against the Steelers, and it’s just a tour on Wednesday. Hoping they are able to get some of these guys back on the pitch, especially some of the younger players who are fighting for a position on the roster.
