Franklin County, Ohio – Several basins and mosquito traps in Franklin County were tested positive for West Nile virus in June.

The Public Health Department of Franklin County sprayed last week in the central areas of Westerville, northern Prairie Township and Gahanna, after the traps revealed the presence of the virus.

The town of Bexley will spray the area south of Dale Avenue on June 11 around 9 pm. after one of the pools set on June 2 tested positive.

An area in central Westerville will also be sprayed on June 11, after 9 pm, according to the Franklin County Public Health Spray Schedule.
