Shailene Woodley has confirmed that she and Aaron Rodgers are, in fact, engaged.

Rumors of a romance between the two began to circulate just earlier this month before the football professional revealed a few days later that he was engaged, but did not say to whom.

Now, Woodley, 29, has announced her engagement to an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.

They began their discussion with Fallon by categorically asking if the engagement rumors are true.

“Yes, we are engaged, we are engaged,” she said. “But to us it’s not news, you know, so it’s kind of funny, everybody’s freaking out right now and we’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ve been engaged for a while.'”

The “Divergent” star sprang up on her beau, calling him “a wonderful and amazing human being.”

“I never thought I would be engaged to someone who throws balls for a living,” the actress joked. “I never thought as a little girl, ‘When I grow up I’m going to marry someone who throws balls, yeah!'”

Like his many fans, however, Woodley has realized that Rodgers, 37, is “so good” at what he does.

She then recalled their past, shortly after they met, joking that her dog desperately wanted her to date Rodgers because he can throw a ball much further than “three feet.”

However, the star revealed that although she is preparing to walk down the aisle with the athlete, she “has never been to a soccer game.”

She and Rodgers “met during this wacky, wacky time,” she said. Professional sports games have had an extremely limited audience since the start of the pandemic.

“I haven’t been to a soccer match yet and before meeting him I had never seen a soccer match before,” she explained. “I didn’t really grow up with sport, especially American sport, it was never really on my radar.”

Woodley added: “I don’t know him as the soccer guy, I know him as the nerd who wants to host ‘Jeopardy !,’ he’s the guy I know.”
