Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa returns as Shang Tsung. The actor, who played the devilish warlock in the 1995 Deadly fight film adaptation, lend his voice and likeness to the character for Mortal Kombat 11.
Shang Tsung will be Mortal Kombat 11The first character to appear as downloadable content for the fighting game. He will also be your host and guide for The Krypt, Mortal Kombat 11The campaign mode that offers challenges and objects to unlock.
Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon today unveiled Shang Tsung and our first preview of The Krypt at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (aka C2E2). You can watch a clip of this revelation on Twitch.
Boon and colleagues at NetherRealm also confirmed the return of Noob Saibot, the black ninja who made his debut in Mortal Kombat 2.
Shang Tsung was the last boss of the first Mortal Kombat. The Shapeshifter appeared in Paul W. S. Anderson's film adaptation Deadly fight, Tagawa portrayed a younger version of the character and then resumed his role in the live-action web series, Mortal Kombat Legacy.
