There seems to be no resentment between Sharna Burgess and Dance with the stars animator Tom Bergeron after his unexpected release. The pro dancer of the ABC competition series will not be coming back for the 28th season to come, although he has won last season alongside Bobby Bones. However, the dancer met Bergeron for lunch and celebrated the meeting on social media.

Burgess visited Instagram Tuesday with an adorable picture of herself and Bergeron kissing during their "hot date" just a few weeks after the unveiling of her revelation that she would not be dancing for the Mirrorball Trophy this fall.

"I had a hot lunch today. [winky face emoji] Always family [hearts emoji] I loved seeing your @tombergeron face, you're a great human, "Burgess wrote at the same time as the soft shot.

Bergeron replied to this article by simply writing: "Back, atcha! [kissy face moji].

The fans of DWTS Celebrities took advantage of the comments section to praise the dance that followed the release of the series.

"I love the fact that despite all the opportunities to smell and act salty, you're here to spread positivity and light! I'll miss you on points, but be aware that bigger things will happen! " A fan commented.

"I'm really going to miss you Sharna !!! I just do not understand !!! Between no spring show and now, I think (sic) they're making a big mistake !!! I'm pissed off like so many others ", wrote another fan.

"We will miss you DWTS. You are one of my favorite dancers, "commented a third user.

Burgess and Artem Chigvintsev were obviously absent from the list of professionals vying for the victory of the season 28. The two dancers broke the silence at their exit of the series.

Burgess had then declared that she was "incredibly sad" not to be back for the new season. "However, what I can say wholeheartedly is that everything is fine, all my love and at this moment I can not help being grateful for the time and the journey I've had, the people I've met, the incredible talent with which I shared the stage and the memories I've made (to say the least … it's epic. "

She continued: "After almost 9 years, I feel like I have grown up in the series.I will really miss creating, telling stories and playing for you all, it will will fail to give the transformative power of the dance to the person in front of me, and I will miss seeing my DWTS every family and watch them work their art in a way that inspires me. Although nothing can ever replace my love for the series, there are things in my world in which I am excited at the thought of diving now that I have the time. Everything happens for a reason."

"I have endless love and gratitude for you all and for everyone at the show," she concluded. "For my colleagues, you turn on the stage over and over again, you are what makes the show magical and I can not wait to see you shine, and to each of my 12 partners … thank you, thank you and I love it I will be watching and cheering this upcoming season for all my family on this dance floor !!! Good luck to all, let this season be the best! Let's go season 28! "

Chigvintsev then shared more dramatic details about the end of his tenure in the series, while Burgess kept things more positive.

Dance with the stars will be back with Season 28 on Monday, September 16th at 8pm. AND on ABC.
