Apple last year gave a great Christmas deal to iOS users with up to six months of free Apple Music subscription. The company is again launching a similar campaign, but with up to five months of free membership for new users.
Apple Music already offers a free trial period for new users, but now you can get five months of Apple Music for free if you’ve never subscribed to the service before. The way to get the free months of Apple Music subscription is similar to what Apple did in 2019.
All you have to do is download Shazam to your iPhone or iPad, then tag any song by tapping the Shazam icon in the app. Once you do that, you will see an option to play the song on Apple Music.
Tap on it and Shazam will give you up to five months of Apple Music subscription for free if you’ve never used Apple’s streaming service before. According to some users, you can also find a banner offering the extended trial period of Apple Music in the settings of Shazam.
Apple confirmed the deal through Shazam’s App Store page, which also states that the offer is valid for multiple countries including the US, Australia, Canada, etc. The offer is valid until January 17, 2021.
