Matt George, one of the co-hosts of the She Rates Dogs podcast, has tragically died at the age of 26.
The podcast co-host Michael okland announced the news on his Twitter account on Saturday morning (July 17).
“I would rather you guys here have this from me than a newspaper article.” Carpet was killed in a hit and run last night. I don’t really have any other words at the moment. I wish I could contact anyone who knows him personally, but the news is out already and I just can’t do it at the moment, ”she wrote.
Local Los Angeles outlets have already reported details of what happened during the crash.

CBS Los Angeles reported that Carpet was struck and killed by a hit and run driver in a white BMW while walking southbound on Croft Avenue in the community of Beverly Grove in Los Angeles. The car was heading east on Beverly Boulevard at around 2:20 a.m. this morning when it struck it. Carpet was pronounced dead at the scene.
The BMW has never stopped and the police are asking for help identifying the motorist.
LAPD West Traffic Division detectives asked anyone with information about the crash to call them at 213-473-0234 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
