Shiba inu (CRYPTO: SHIB) recently saw its price skyrocket and caught the attention of many, including famous crypto influencer CryptosRUs.
He went back to his previous opinion on the play and said it was not a new version of Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) and instead a different project that he thinks is better.
What happened: According to a CryptosRUs livestream on Tuesday, a quadrillion Shiba Inu coins were created with his team members having to buy it like everyone else and half of the supply was given to Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin who destroyed his property.
While Dogecoin is a “pure memecoin” that can only perform basic transactions, Shiba Inu is already powering its own decentralized exchange (DEX) and his team is planning to launch a dedicated Ethereum scalability network.

CryptosRUs also said the rumors about Robinhood Shiba Inu’s roster are major bullish arguments for the coin. He said he believed the rumor was true since the exchange is looking for profit, its users are clearly interested in memecoins and Shiba Inu is the second most important memecoin.
