Chinese-made cables include the 3-foot Heyday Lightning USB cables used to charge cell phones and other electronic devices. These cables are purple, green and iridescent blue. Look for model no. 080 08 8261 on the packaging of this defective product.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission advises people to immediately stop using these cables and return them to a Target store for a full refund.
The problem cords were sold from June 2018 to January 2019 for about $ 15 each.
