ShopGoodWill 912lbs Old PlayStation Auction

Serious treasure (depending on how you look at it) has just landed on ShopGoodWill. A total of 987 pounds of retro PlayStation gear is being auctioned.

Although the total weight is 987 pounds, it is more accurately 912 pounds when the weight of the pallet is subtracted. The site listed it as “DESCRIPTION: GAYLORD FROM DIFFERENT PLAYSTATION CONSOLES.” For those in the dark, a Gaylord container is known as a large corrugated shipping box. The original boxes were made by the Gaylord Container Company and, due to its prevalence at the time, were adopted as its colloquial name – much like a “bandage” represents a medical bandage or tissue is known as of “Kleenex”.

From the pictures we can see that the container is filled with Sony PlayStation 2 and 3 units in the launch and slim versions. It is also not known if they are in working order as they look quite broken. As for the conditional GoodWill statement, it simply reads: “USED, SOME ITEMS DAMAGED AND OR WORN” and “NOT TESTED”

Those who want to own 912 pounds of older PlayStation game consoles can head to the listing page where the starting bid is set at $ 800.
