Kyrie Irving and LeBron James were quite a tandem when they were teammates at the Cleveland Cavaliers, which eventually led to an NBA championship in 2016. In 2017, Kyrie asked to leave in order to no longer play with LeBron, but in early 2019 Kyrie called LeBron to apologize. This phone call opened the door to the possibility that Kyrie would meet with LeBron on the Los Angeles Lakers.
