After years spent in Development Hell, Steven Spielberg's Halo Live TV series is finally taking shape – and with a commander at the helm.
Showtime announced Thursday that Otto Bathurst (Black mirror, Robin Hood) will direct the pilot and several episodes of the series of nine episodes, which will be inspired by the science fiction franchise. Kyle Killen, whose high concept series Lonely star and Awake have achieved sect status as the wonders of a season, HaloExecutive producer, writer and showrunner. Bathurst arrives at the project after directing two episodes of the new BBC show Its dark materials series.
