The rebirth of “Dexter” has become very interesting.

Kurt is the unofficial mayor of Iron Lake, presumably the new town Dexter found himself in in the years following his death at the end of Season 8 and before embarking on a new career as a lumberjack.
Showtime’s character description for Kurt says he “made the American dream come true by going from driving big rigs just like his dad did, to now owning multiple trucks and the local truck stop. Powerful , generous, loved by all – he is a true man of the world. If he supports you, consider yourself blessed. But if you run into Kurt, or if you hurt someone he cares about, God help you. ”
