Showtime's "Halo" series recruits new director of "Black Mirror"

Remember that the Halo television series that the team behind the project swore we would love? Many Master Chief and gang fans have wondered what happened to this and why no news was revealed about the upcoming show. Fortunately, new details reveal that the series is officially back as it moves forward with the new director, Black mirror Otto Bathurst.

The director reveals after months of feverishness in search of the ideal solution to revive the Xbox series. Bathurst is currently directing numerous episodes of the new series and producing the latest live-action adventure alongside Awake Kyle Killen as current writer and presenter.

The series of 10 episodes is also placed under the aegis of Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television, whose production was originally scheduled to begin earlier this year. Unfortunately, the production schedule was delayed when the previous director, Rupert Wyatt, announced his exit from the project in December, at the beginning of the casting.

We first heard about the TV show in 2014, although the news about its production quickly became very hot when the "first words" were broadcast about Showtime and directly available on Xbox consoles. Acting as an exclusive franchise to the Xbox, one of Microsoft's values, the comings and goings were understandable, even though there seems to be some water under the bridge.
