Former Counter-Strike pro Michael 'shroud' Grzesiek has recently made his way into the beta version of Modern Warfare and has just won his first nuclear missile with less than 24 hours.
FPS phenomenon and streaming sensation, shroud is one of Twitch's most recognizable faces and his latest obsession is the beta version of Modern Warfare.
Launched on all platforms on September 19, the public beta marks the first time that an entry in the Call of Duty franchise allows cross-play between PC gamers and consoles.
Exploiting his technical prowess with a mouse and keyboard, Shroud finally won the extremely difficult challenge of killing the nuclear nuke during the last full day of the beta.
In a flood of Sept. 22, Linceul played cautiously in the Ground War game mode and was essentially kept in a single building to acquire the end-of-game sequence.
Accumulating victories in the gigantic lobby that pits two teams of 32 players, it took the veteran of the game just under eight minutes to accumulate 30 eliminations using only his weapons and equipment.
With the aid of the M4A1 assault rifle, the shroud maintained the building just in front of the C flag on the Karst River quarry map. This place gets closer to the center of the map and monitors enemies crossing from all directions. With the high ground control, it would take a herculean effort to remove the streamer from its campsite before the nuclear bomb was called.
"GG," he shouts as he uncovers the crucial point to end all this. Sitting at the top of the standings with 37 eliminations and 0 deaths in his name.
Joking at his friends in the lobby, he acknowledged that the crucial strategy was to stay on one point of the map, claiming that "I was trying so hard there, I was camping in a storm."
Unfortunately, fellow FPS and the Twitch "aimbotcalvin" streamer have recently encountered bad luck problems.
