Chloe Trautman has spoken out amid rumors she has been fired from Siesta Key.
The MTV star took to social media on Monday and addressed her absence after fans noticed she was missing from cast photos of a group trip to Palm Island in the Grenadines.
Writing on her Instagram Stories, Chloe, 25, explained: “ I can’t stand to see these lies spread. I was not fired. I decided to take a step back from the shoot because it became extremely toxic.

“I don’t want to put my travel and my happiness on the line for fame and money.
She added: ‘You will all have clarity when the show airs. Now stop spreading lies, ”she added.
An accompanying quote on the post reads: “Let people be hungry for you. Be unavailable from time to time, you focus on your shit. ‘
Chloe ended with another quote that read, “ Giving up is leaving something you love because of external comments. To evolve is to choose something else because your energy has moved.
Chloe was initially excited to resume filming when season four was announced in November.

Over the summer, Chloe revealed that she lost 30 pounds in quarantine after a wake-up call on a recent ski trip to Aspen.
“We were skiing and I was so out of shape that it bothered me so much. I wanted to ski, but I couldn’t physically, ” the reality star, 24, told Us Weekly. “That’s when I was like, ‘OK, that’s not normal.’
“For example, I want to be able to go down a mountain at least once. It was difficult for me to walk around with ski boots. I was like, that’s not how it’s supposed to be.

“I eat better, I am more active and I am happier. So that also helps.
Describing the transformation as a “ lifestyle change, ” Chloe revealed that she received a lot of help from Garrett Miller, her colleague from Siesta Keys.

Chloe believes cutting ties with toxic friends has also benefited her new, healthier life.
“I have lost a lot of negative people in my life,” she explained. “I think it reflects my appearance as well.
Indeed, Chloe is no stranger to the drama.
She found herself embroiled in the drama with teammate Alex Kompothecras, after learning he had cheated on his girlfriend Alyssa Salerno with Juliette Porter.

“I spoke to her once,” Chloe said. “He doesn’t seem to change. It doesn’t appear to be much different. … But I wish everyone the best for him.
Things have improved for Alex and Alyssa now, however – the couple recently welcomed a baby girl.
