Sigourney Weaver surprises Alien's student cast: The Play

If you're thinking of putting on a play based on Alien, a 1979 sci-fi movie, do not be too surprised if you Sigourney Weaver stop to give you a high-five.

That's exactly what happened at a high school in New Jersey on April 26th. Weaver, who played the heroine Ellen Ripley in the original Alien movie series, paid a surprise visit to the cast and Alien: The Play production team.

Actors from North Bergen High School made a new presentation of their play Alien Friday, which had first viral in March.

Teenagers made awesome sets, space suits and even a realistic alien xénomorphose costume using recycled materials.

The dedication of students inspired Alien director Ridley Scott himself to donate $ 5,000 to help organize the recall on Friday.

After the reminder presentation, Weaver greeted the cast in the hallway of the school.

"I'm so excited to be here," Weaver tells them. "I represent all Alien fans from all over the universe … I think what you are doing is so cool and so important."

Another video shows a high school student shouting, "I love you, you're my childhood hero! I can not believe you're here now!" before kissing Weaver.

Earlier in March, Weaver made a video on YouTube praising young actors in their Alien play.

"I just want to say it looked amazing," Weaver said in the video. "You put all your heart into that and the extraterrestrial seemed to me very real.I want to send our compliments not only to me but also to James Cameron and the original screenwriter Walter Hill.We all say well done , bravo. "

The Alien film franchise celebrated its 40th anniversary on Friday.
