Simon Cowell calls "AGT" the act "the worst live performance I've ever seen" [Video]

Nick and Lindsay Williams were hoping to beef up their opera-violin-knife number during the quarter-finals of LIVE America's Got Talent on Tuesday night. But instead of marveling at the judges with their interpretation of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire," they fell into a ring of fire on fire, figuratively speaking.

Unfortunately, the song choice was a bit too capricious for Nick's lyrical singing style. As a result, his tempo and tone were different.

Lindsay struggled to throw the knife, as only one of her many knives was stuck on the board. She had also lost the pace with Nick when she tried to play the violin.

At the time of the reviews, Simon Cowell was pretty hard. "I think in America's Got Talent story, it's the worst live performance I have ever seen," Simon said. "I like you, but everything went wrong, I mean it was like watching a murder." And Twitter has accepted Simon, wholeheartedly.

While all the judges agreed that the act was bad, Julianne Hough thought it was bad like a good moldy cheese. She said, "It was so serious that it became good."

That Nick and Lindsay qualify for the final round depends on America's vote. No matter what happens, at least the husband and wife know that they will always live in the infamy of AGT, making it the worst live show of all time.
