Simone Biles is Jonathan Owens’ biggest fan, on and off the pitch.
The 24-year-old Olympian attended another Houston Texans practice over the weekend and hugged her boyfriend, 26, on the field while in uniform.
“Another day, another workout ❤️,” she captioned an Instagram photo carousel on Sunday, which also included a photo of them smiling for the camera.
The gymnast and Owens could no longer support each other. As Biles publicly battled his sanity at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, NFL security publicly showered him with praise.
“I’ll ride with you through any baby,” he wrote in an Instagram post in July along with a series of photos of Biles. “Your strength and courage are unmatched and you inspire me more and more every day.”
He added: “You are still my champion baby and never forget it, I love you so much and can’t wait for you to come home and I can see that beautiful smile again. You know I’m still here. for you baby.
When Biles won the bronze medal for her performance in the women’s Olympic final on balance beam, Owens took to social media again to congratulate his girlfriend.
“Words can’t explain how proud I am of you right now !!” he wrote on his Instagram story with a photo of Biles at the Olympics.
Owens also re-shared an infographic highlighting the decorated gymnast’s accomplishments, including 25 world championship medals (including 19 gold) and four gymnastics skills bearing her name.
Biles and Owens were first linked as a couple in the summer of 2020, going public on Instagram in August. He claimed he didn’t know who the superstar athlete was when they met.
