A total of 125 suspects, including 62 men and 63 women, aged 18 to 62, were arrested from 22 to 26 October for various offenses during a multi-day joint operation to enforce the law. several agencies.

Officers from the Jurong Police Division led the operation with the support of the Central Narcotics Board (CNB), the Immigration Authority and Checkpoints (ICA). ), Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) and Singapore Customs.

The operation took place in several locations in Singapore, including Tuas, Jurong West, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Batok and Woodlands.

Forty-seven women were arrested during the operation for their alleged involvement in activities related to vice in residential units and employment-related offenses in public entertainment venues.

Fourteen other men and three women were arrested for offenses related to commercial crime and e-begin scams.

The police discovered, as a result of preliminary investigations, that men and women would be involved in 60 cases, where the victims would have lost more than $ 356,000.

Forty-eight men and thirteen women were also arrested for immigration-related offenses, contempt for modesty, loan activities, theft and other offenses.

A total of 4,332 packages of unpaid cigarettes were seized.
