The Spyder system is equipped with advanced infrared and radar missiles and can intercept air threats at more than double the range and three times the Rapier system altitude.
It is also more effective in terms of manpower since it only takes four men and 15 minutes to deploy the Spyder compared to 15 men and one hour to deploy the Rapier
