SINGAPORE: A new Sengkang City Development Committee has been established to oversee and coordinate the needs of all Sengkang residents.

This was announced Saturday (July 7th) by the State Minister for Health and Transportation, Lam Pin Min, also Member of Parliament for Sengkang West, at the inauguration ceremony of the Fernvale Community Club (CC).

In his speech, he stated that the population of Sengkang West has grown to about 70,000 and that some have started their second generation of families in the city.
