Singapore Infocomm Authority to speak at Innovation Labs World

The Singapore Information and Communication Media Development Authority (IMDA) will speak at Innovation Labs World in Singapore on September 25th.

CEO Tan Kiat How will he speak to Global Insights Panel in the morning, where he will be joined by Sophie Løhde, Minister of Public Sector Innovation, Denmark. He will share IMDA's vision for boosting Singapore's digital economy.

Part of the work of the IMDA is to understand how data exchange can be done safely, only with consent, and without violating regulations or putting people at risk of robbery. Identity, Tan said in an exclusive interview with GovInsider.

Deputy Chief Executive Yeong Zee Kin will speak in the data feed on how data play a vital role in building a digital economy. IMDA "will be an ecosystem of trust when companies can use the data and consumers trust companies with their personal data," Yeong shared in his interview with GovInsider.
