Overwatch leader, Jeff Kaplan, revealed that toxicity in Overwatch is down by more than a quarter in the Americas and by more than 15% in Korea.
Jeff Kaplan shared an update on the progress of the Overwatch team. the reduction of toxicity in the game, and the amount of "abusive gossip" in competitions is down 26.4% in the Americas, while the percentage of abusive gamblers is down by 28.8%

Last month, the new endorsement system was introduced at the game, allowing players at the end of the match for sportsmanship, good team work and shots. Distributing them gives XP players and increases their "level of endorsement". Level-based scaling rewards may eventually be claimed.
The system has received mixed reviews from gamers, some saying it's encouraging people to be "fake nice", while others have pointed out that encourages people to show of civility and courtesy, their motives in this scenario are not so important.
Kaplan says he is "really satisfied with the community's efforts to make OW a better place." added that the team refine the features to enhance them, as well as to explore "other systems to enhance the game environment."
Beside the endorsement system, the same patch also revised Symmetra, and added a "Character Search" feature.
