Josh Brookes of McAMS Yamaha will have to remove his handlebar mustache after winning Bennetts British Superbike's double win at Brands Hatch this afternoon.

The 2015 champion said that he was going to shave the Melchett if he had to win two victories in Kent and that this was happening while he was winning a flag flag, flying Glenn Irwin of less than a tenth of a second with Leon Haslam

Brookes has never been in the lead in the second encounter but, as for the first race, Irwin's Be Wiser Ducati l '# 39; pushed all the way but did not have enough to steal the victory in the last lap. Haslam was in contention until the last laps, but his pace fell and he finished with a 5.6s delay.

Haslam's podium means he's away from Jake Dixon, fourth again, leading the championship while Brookes jumps Bradley Rea for the fourth.

Dixon snapped Tarran Mackenzie's burrow at his heels and little Scotsman bounced back from fifth place.

Christian Iddon was easily the fastest BMW in sixth place while Tommy Bridewell took the Moto Rapido. Ducati in seventh place on only his second race with the team. Danny Buchan took eighth place with James Ellison and Peter Hickman completing the top 10.

Michael Laverty, Andrew Irwin, Luke Mossey, Chrissy Rouse and Jason O Halloran completed the scoring points with Bradley Ray 16th. Dan Linfoot did not start because he is suspected of having a broken scaphoid after his racing accident 1.
