The protocol of agreement marks the first collaboration between
Singapore Football Association (FAS) and Private Education
Institution (PEI)

– July 23, 2018 –
PSB Academy, one of Singapore's leading PEIs, and FAS have signed
memorandum of understanding to offer all registered football
players and staff scholarships FAS for the range of
certificates, diplomas and diplomas from university partners.

Feed the players ready for the future

As part of the agreement, for the next 5 years, eligible players
and staff who sign up for a course at PSB Academy will like to study
grants that will cover a portion of their respective course fees.
An additional discount of $ 10,000 will be given to
any Singapore Premier League club that has 10 or more players who
Sign up for degree or degree courses together. As an extension of
PSB Academy's ongoing partnership with The Credit Co-operative,
CBT, the recipients of a scholarship have the additional option of
0% interest rate [1]

have identified is to raise the skills of clubs, officials,
coaches and players. In addition to supporting the professionalism of our players
careers on the ground, we recognize the need to prepare them for
their post-game careers as well. We want to equip our players
with the necessary skills and knowledge while they are still in the
in the middle of their playing career while they make plans for their future.

A diploma for the road

In attendance at the signing ceremony, Fazrul Nawaz, 33 years old
Former Hougang United Football Club striker and PSB recipient
First scholarship of the Academy and the FAS. Fazrul undertakes a
Diploma in Sport Science and Exercise, and hopes for its certification
will provide him with a good base to become a youth coach at
football hopes.

student-athlete, to balance a professional football career and
studies. No matter how we perform in the field, the support system
we still have important, and I'm encouraged by FAS and PSB

look beyond what we can do as footballers, either to form a

Talent pipeline for the sports industry

Apart from Singapore football players and staff, PSB Academy
students will also benefit from this partnership
– The FAS will provide eligible students or graduates the opportunity to
trainee with the association, or with the Singapore Premier League
clubs.
