Singapore could use drones to deliver drugs for security reasons – Tech News

Drones could be used across Singapore's high-tech to provide vital medical supplies to a patient in an emergency or to respond to a security breach under a new system under development, a consortium announced private on July 24th. "Our goal is to enable any company that needs to drive drones (beyond the visual sight of pilots) in Singapore to do so safely and efficiently," said Ong Jiin Joo, director of Future Flight project.

The consortium gave a two-year timeline for the development of the system and committed to rigorous security testing
