For those aspiring to more arcade-style broadband racing, Gameloft's critically acclaimed competition franchise is back and ready for download on iOS, Android and PC.
The Asphalt Series allows players to drive and prestigious cars to test their skills on a variety of tracks around the world. Legends will continue this legacy with a starting total of nearly 50 different cars to choose from, including the Bugatti Chiron, the McLaren P1 and as a new addition to Asphalt 9, the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio. All these cars and more can be unlocked from the single player campaign.
The game will also allow players to play in games classified to 8 players. Players can race to climb the rankings through five different leagues, fighting for first place. Asphalt 9 also introduces a new multiplayer system in the form of clubs. It's a social mechanic that will allow players to work together and accumulate points to earn rewards and become the best of their club's personal rankings. Each club is customizable and can have a maximum of 20 members. Members will be able to discuss leagues and strategies in private chat rooms for club users.
A new mechanism introduced with this entry is a new style of play called "touch reader" for mobile phone users. This is a new alternative control system that allows you to control your car with just a few taps. The control system will allow players to quickly and simply move through the different courses while allowing for complex maneuvers in the heat of the moment.
The game will also include limited-time events that will challenge the player to perform specific tasks for the chance to win special rewards. To celebrate the release of Asphalt 9, Gameloft has partnered with Lamborghini to deliver an event at stake with the exclusive availability of the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio. In the event 'Legendary trip by Lamborghini', players will be able to win special rewards at stake and possibly even travel to Lamborghini's headquarters in Italy
