There, the gap widens with Alexa Alexa answering 61.4% of the queries correctly.

Microsoft's Cortana came in last, answering just over half of the queries correctly (52.4%).

What is it for? Siri was the most improved digital assistant compared to a similar test conducted last year by the same company.

The test is divided into 5 categories:

  • Local
  • Commerce
  • Navigation
  • Informa tion
  • Order

Google Assistant came out first in all categories except the "Commandment" category ". This refers to the commands that control the actions performed by the phone, such as creating a calendar entry or sending a text message.

In other words, Google Assistant outstripped its competitors "

" One of the biggest gaps between the assistants was in the Information category, where Google got the highest percentage of correct answers we saw in our tests (93%). Wolf Ventures attributes the performance of Google Assistant in this area to code snippets from the search engine. respond with, "here's what comes back from a search" and a list of links, Google is able to read you the answer. We confirm that each result is correct, but this offers a huge advantage in simple information queries (one of the most common vocal calculation activities).

Note that this test only looked at how PDAs behaved on a smartphone.] The test did not look at the performance of these PDAs via their respective smart speakers. This test will arrive later this autumn.
