SpeedKore's 1,400-horsepower Dodge Demon cuts 8.77 seconds of run over 1/4 mile

The Dodge Demon is already a beast of track, thanks to the power of 840 hp of its supercharged V8 engine. SpeedKore took one of these demons and made it even faster, much faster actually. The extra speed comes from a massive increase in power and weight reduction.

SpeedKore replaced the compressor with a pair of turbos to generate 1,400 horsepower. Dyno works shows that the demon made 1,203hp to the wheels. The result is a demon capable of navigating the quarter mile in 8.77 seconds with a capture speed of 162 mph.

The insane part is that this quarter mile is only a second faster than the stock Demon can collect in 9.65 seconds. To reduce weight, SpeedKore is also turned to a full carbon fiber hull. The ride is not painted, so you can see the sexy weaving of carbon fiber panels.

It is always surprising that an original factory, Demon, can cover the quarter mile in 9.65 seconds and remove inline vehicles. The SpeedKore demon will be on display at SEMA starting October 30th.

All parts used on the SpeedKore Demon can be purchased by Demon owners looking for increased speed and performance. SpeedKore mods pricing is not announced, but energy costs money, so start saving now.
