It's a worrying time for City fans, no doubt. Vichai was an influential figure in the club. Losing it is a devastating blow, but I think some club members will continue to work, including his son Aiyawatt (Top).
Top has been more involved with the club than Vichai in the past, he knows the club from top to bottom and is committed to continuing the work started by his father. I think he'll be even more motivated to make City a club capable of competing with the best clubs in the country in lasting tribute to his father.
I understand that the Executive Director, Susan Whelan, was a rock in this terrible time for everyone at the club. She did a wonderful job that is often overlooked. She was the cold, calm head she needed when the tragedy happened and, with her leadership of the ship and support for Top, I think City stays in good hands.
There will be other factors, such as duty free in Thailand, which will soon be auctioned and will have to be settled, but I think City fans will be reassured that it There are still people in the club who have intentions for the club.
