SINGAPORE: A 32-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, November 4 for his alleged involvement in a case of aggravated aggravated outrage.
The police said they were informed of the molestation case around 5:40 am on Sunday.
The victim, a woman, was allegedly assaulted in a residential unit located along Choa Chu Kang Avenue.
Officers from the Jurong Police Division and the Special Operations Command conducted a search. They then stopped the man in the parking lot of the residential unit at about 11:40.
A report from Lianhe Wanbao said the incident had occurred in the executive condominium of Wandervale, where the suspect was working as a security guard. One resident estimated that there were about 50 police officers and about 17 police vehicles on the scene.
The man will be charged Monday in court of a crime of indignation serious and modest.
If he is found guilty, he incurs a minimum sentence of two years imprisonment and caning.
