Scientists have discovered that someone blocks signals from space

About us, you mustAfter the experiment, it became apparent that in the space, no radio signal was detected in the low frequencies.

Fast Radiospace (FRB) is the signal from an unknown source in deep space. They were recorded for the first time in 2007. Since then, dozens of outbreaks of this type have been documented.

It is thought that FRBs are the consequences of the event with the release of large amounts of energy. They only last a few milliseconds and it is difficult to identify the origin of their origin.

A team of scientists from the Australian University of Paintings, led by Marcin Sokolowski, discovered that FRBs were not observed at low frequencies. The researchers sent two telescopes to the same parcel of sky: the MWA and the Australian CSIRO SKA Pathfinder. The latter was used to detect dozens of signals from deep space, which is written in the journal Nature. But at the time, ASKAP having discovered a new FRB, the other telescope did not notice anything.

"When ASPAP sees these extremely brilliant events, and MWA – no, it tells us that there is something really unexpected. Or a fast radiospace is not broadcast at low frequency, or the signals are stuck on the way to the ground, "Sokolowski said.

Scientists were able to track a FRB of dwarf galaxies three billion light-years away from Earth. The signal was repeated, which is very unusual. All other FRBs were one-time events and followed their work.
