Kyiv-based tournament organizer Starladder, in cooperation with ImbaTV (China), will host Chongqing Dota 2 Majent from January 19-27.

The Chongqing Dota 2 Major will serve as the second major tournament of the Dota Pro 2018-19. It will be held in one of China's largest cities, Chongqing. The tournament will have a $ 1 million prize pool and 15,000 CPD points. In addition, according to Valve's decision, 15 of the 16 teams will have to qualify via their respective regional qualifications, with 16th place being reserved for the winners of Bucharest Minor.
